TV Guide Magazine: Your exec producer Hart Hanson tells us he does want to show a sex scene next season, after the infant’s older. How do you feel about shooting that?
Deschanel: Wooo! But we’re not having any bedroom scenes right now, thank God. I just had a baby [in real life], who comes with me to work every day. Give me a little time.
Boreanaz: They won’t be attacking each other ferociously over steaks they’re grilling outside.
Deschanel: Actually, David has a cold now and it was written in a scene that he gives me a kiss, and I was like, “He is not kissing me!” So we cut the kiss. We still have some make-outs, but not in the usual way. We make out at a crime scene. [Watch for “The Family in the Feud” episode, airing April 30.]

DAVID: We're both still racing [to the next crime scene], which is great. We continuously want to push the button of the competitiveness and the sexualityness.
EMILY: "Sexualityness." I like that word!
DAVID: Is it a word?
EMILY: It is now. Mr. David Boreanaz, call Webster's!

David: What are you talking about? That was a margarita in my hand.
Emily: Well it's water for me!
David: Why are you drinking water?
Emily: I'm pregnant...
David: YOU'RE PREGNANT?!

David: We should have just laid one on each other right here. Just freaked everybody out.
Emily: Not told anyone.
David: Not told anyone. Just done it. We do that sometimes. Because that's just our characters.
Emily: No, you try to kiss me sometimes.
David: I don't try to kiss you sometimes.
Emily: To make me feel uncomfortable.
David: No! To make you feel wanted!

Emily: She's like the perfect pregnant person because she didn't gain any weight anywhere but her stomach.
David: Well look at you. You look great too. You're the same.
Emily: Well, i've gained some weight in other areas.
David: I don't think so.
Emily: You're very sweet.
David: Thank you. I've learned how to talk to you after six seasons.

David: Well you think I would be nervous too. Look at where my my face is...you're going up, I didn't know you were pregnant...you know things can come out.
Emily: Oh my god!
David: There could be smells.
Emily: Oh my god David! *laughing hysterically*
David: But there weren't. God helped us all. It was beautiful.
Emily: I didn't give birth early on on David's head.
